Volunteer FAQS
Do I need medical, dental or legal experience to volunteer?
No. Some of our volunteer roles do not require medical, dental or legal experience. Opportunities may include administrative support, reception, legal intake, community outreach, language support, and special projects.
Please use the General Volunteer Application for these roles.
What are the volunteer shift times?
Most clinic volunteer shifts take place during the morning or afternoon. Morning shifts are typically 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and afternoon shifts are typically 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Community outreach opportunities are also available during evenings or weekends.
How often do volunteers need to serve?
Volunteer schedules vary depending on the role and the volunteer’s availability. Some volunteers serve weekly, while others help monthly or as needed.
What kind of commitment do I need to make?
We welcome anyone with a heart for service to apply. The time commitment depends on the volunteer role, your availability, and the clinic’s current needs.
